Ms. Jalina

About me

Jalina Pittman was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale. Florida. At an early age she performed with the dance ministry,  Ujima Praise Dancers.  It was this 11 year experience that inspired Jalina to always keep dance in her life. Since then, Jalina can be found spending her evenings or weekends in classes to enhance her technique in ballet, heels, hip hop, reggaeton, or jazz . Such determination to learn and improve her craft afforded her the opportunity to teach at Studio 28 in Tampa,  FL  and currently perform as a member of the Marlins Mermaids Pro-Sports Dance Team.

Jalina is an energetic instructor who recognizes the potential in her students and will encourage and require their very best. She uses her skills as a former elementary  educator to engage, instruct and improve young dancers. When she’s not dancing ,Jalina can be found on the beach , in the gym and spending time with her friends and family.
